Source data comes in many forms and can be very clean and straight forward, while others require cleaning and transformation.

In this example the data was provided in Excel and required Power Query to clean and transform the data in order to populate the requested dashboard. When cleaning and transforming the data, it's best to document steps clearly so that they are understood and can be revised as necessary.
